For an AppImage, make the downloaded file executable before launching it. Use your distribution’s normal installer for a .deb or .rpm. A Flatpak bundle requires a compatible Flatpak runtime; follow the project’s Linux instructions for the current prerequisites and launch notes.
These are advanced packages. Check runtime requirements and architecture in the upstream documentation before choosing one.
The web ZIP is a static-site build for self-hosting. It is not a desktop installer. You can use our browser editor without downloading that ZIP.
Download SHA256SUMS.txt for v0.9.0. Calculate the SHA-256 of your downloaded package and compare it with the line for that exact filename. Both the version and architecture must match.

sha256sum photocraft-0.9.0-linux-x86_64.AppImagePhotoCraft is developed by the ArtCraft team and contributors. We maintain this independent website and its browser host. We link to upstream packages and do not repackage installers.
The asset list and file sizes were checked against the official release on October 17, 2026. We have not installed or tested these desktop packages. A matching checksum confirms that your file matches the publisher’s checksum; it does not establish that the software is free of bugs.

Yes. The upstream project publishes free desktop releases and open-source code. Its own code uses MIT or Apache 2.0 licensing, while bundled third-party materials have separate notices. Read the source and license information for details.
Both are PhotoCraft, but the versions differ. We currently host the official v0.8.2 browser build. The desktop links on this page point to v0.9.0. Native and browser builds can have different features and behavior; test the version you plan to use.
This website’s name describes the topic we explore. It does not promise an AI image-generation service. Our hosted browser build has no generative AI service or connected assistant. Check the desktop release’s own documentation for its capabilities instead of assuming it matches Adobe Photoshop.
This guide covers the upstream desktop and web releases listed above. We have not verified an Android or iOS package from this project. Similarly named mobile apps may be unrelated; check the developer and repository rather than relying on the name alone.
PhotoCraft is early-alpha software. Choose the build that fits your device, keep an untouched original, compare the opened PSD with a trusted preview and inspect the exported result. Do not assume complete Photoshop file or plug-in compatibility.
The versioned links on this page remain pinned to the checked release. Use the official latest-release page to see whether a newer version is available, and use that version’s own checksum file.
Need a first-edit walkthrough? Our other independent host, PhotoCraft.design, explains opening an image, saving manually and checking an export in the v0.8.2 browser build.
